Lana Del Rey – Honeymoon

The new Lana Del Rey album “Honeymoon” just released last week. I played drums and percussion on the songs “Salvatore” “24” and “Swan Song”. I had a great time exploring sound palettes with Lana, producer Rick Nowels and producer engineer Kieron Menzes.

Nick Francis

I love Nick’s great spirit and imagination with ableton live and electronic music. Check out this great dubspot video about his wonderful custom midi controller and his fun music –

Brooklyn Bowl

Played with JMB at Brooklyn Bowl last night – supporting Galactic. Great hang with Stanton Moore, Warren Haynes, and Corey Glover. A great mix of New Orleans party with some heroes from my past.

Bonnaroo !!!

I played with the Jamie McLean Band at Bonnaroo! A 90,000 person music party in the hot desert of Tennesee. Highlights included: Sonny Emory with Bruce Hornsby, Jerry Douglas with Alison Krauss, Loretta Lynn, Neil Young with Buffalo Springfield, Brian Blade and Dan Lanois with Black Dub, My Morning Jacket, and a powerful set by Gracy Potter. What a blast!

Great shows

2 exciting nyc shows this week. Played at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 last night with Zach Williams & The Bellow. This is a great new band that features great singers, upright bass, pedal steel, piano and Zach’s singing and songwriting. Also – tomorrow night March 3rd is the official release and release party for the first Jamie McLean Band EP this year. It is called Time Of My Life. We tracked it at Trout Recording with Bryce Goggin and mixed it with John Agnello. 2 of my rock record heroes!
